OK, got my Frogger working now with a new X01-2SD870 and a new Flyback.

But the bottom right corner is warped a little. Is this just a simple adjustment, or will a cap kit fix this do you think?

Also should my marque light be blinking every few seconds????

Thanks,
Steve

Looks like AC hum bar. Are there fuses in the bottom of the cab?

Marquee blinking is a bad starter, change it out. It is an FS-2.

I hope it's not a Hum bar, I hate those.

Here's a photo of the fuses in the bottom.

What do you think?

Move the ground wire on the neck board to the top location instead of the bottom location, and see if that fixes it.

A cap kit will make that better. if it is still a little noticeable, then make C517 and C518 BOTH 220uF 16v caps. The kit has one of them as a 100uF 16v, but making them both 220Uf 16v will help square up the picture.

BTW - if you were going to all the trouble of replacing the flyback and HOT, you should have done a cap kit at the same time while you had it out...

I'll do the cap kit Sunday. I've already had this chassis in and out four times, so I just wanted to see if the replacements fixed the dead monitor before I went through the trouble of doing the cap kit. I'm not super fast at doing them.

Thanks for the ideas and help!
Steve
