I have a Frogger bootleg PCB, Frog on Falcon hardware. I'm told the layout is exactly the same as the original Sega/Gremlin PCB. I want to try to swap Frogger ROMs into the Frog/Falcon PCB to see if I can get it to work with the original ROMs so it will have the same title screen.

Frogger & Frog/Falcon have eight EPROMs. Four are in common. The other four are one 2716 and three 2732's. I have the Frogger ROM images from MAME. I was able to identify which 2716 I need to change. On the three 2732's though, the MAME ROM names do not give any indication of their physical location on the PCB. The three 2732's are on the larger/bottom PCB (see attached pic).

On my Frog/Falcon PCB, the three 2732's are labeled on the board IC5, IC6 & IC7. The corresponding MAME ROM images are IC5=6.bin, IC6=7.bin, IC7=8.bin. The MAME ROM names for the Frogger 2732's are frogger.26, frogger.27 and frsm3.7. I don't know what the ROM locations on a Frogger PCB are labeled (they might be the same).

Can someone tell me which ROM location each of the Frogger 2732's go to? (I hope that question makes sense). If there are no labels on the Frogger 2732 ROMs on your PCB, perhaps you could do a ROMIDENT and determine which one goes to which location. Thanks.

Got the info I needed (thanks):

Frog/Falcon -> Frogger
6.bin -> frogger.26
7.bin -> frogger.27
8.bin -> frsm3.7
epr-1036.1k -> frogger.606

Unfortunately, the ROM swap did not work. So I will be trying the ROM hacks identified above.
