I've got a Frogger PCB. It was sold to me as fully working, but I've never gotten the sound to work properly. $40 shipped anywhere in the U.S.

Here are some pictures:

pm me if you're interested.

Got a chance to throw this on the bench today and check it out.
I found a bad LS32 at IC36, replaced it and still no sound but at least I had activity on the chip now. Found pin 1 of the LS32 and pin 6 of the LS27 right next to it were stuck high. Replaced the LS27 and no change at all. Tracked the problem back to the 8255 , replaced and all is well again.
Also I should note that IC34 eprom was bad as well. For some reason these froggers have a high failure rate on the eproms so its always the first thing I check on them.

yeah don't just PM the OP or anything, revive a thread from 4+ years ago. brilliant.

lol. Actually I am kind of glad he did.

This being in a for sale section(5 years old) I dont think I would have even read the thread and my Frogger has no sound, so gathering notes on it when I find them for when I take that repair on. Not that I will ever have time.

Revive a thread and share with the group how to troubleshoot it...that's kinda what this forum is about.

Good to know if my Frogger Goes down that I can send it your way Riptor! I just picked up a Braze kit for mine.

Join the club... Apparently this is a very common problem on Frogger. Unfortunately, the board I have doesn't want to be fixed..

I'll be updating this page as I make progress:

Sorry for asking the question. Been a couple of years and a divorce and just now getting back into enjoying these early games. Found my problem. It was the sound amp. Used to work on the 44 pin sega boards and this is my first attempt at a Konami. Thought I'd reach out.
