Switch 3 should put it into cocktail mode but it does nothing to mine. What exactly should it do? Does it flip thcreen or change controls? Because right now the controls don't move in the right directions so I assume it's stuck in upright mode (it's a cocktail).

Thanks.

Cocktail mode flips the screen for player 2 and enables separate player 2 control inputs rather than having both players share the same controls as is the case with an upright.

If the controls on your cocktail are moving the frog in the wrong direction, then your joystick is wired wrong; it is not a problem with the dipswitch.

I kind thought it might be wired funny. I am starting to think there are many funny things about his machine. Such as the monitor is mounted wrong. It needs to be rotated 90 degrees... Strange with that and how the controls are wired.

OK... The monitor was in wrong. It's strange that it can be mounted either way. But anyhow, changing that and resoldering the dip switches fixed my issues.
