Hello again. I've recently picked up a frogger. The monitor worked when I got it, but seemed way out of adjustement or badly in need of a cap kit. I have one larger cap that has a split top. Simple solution is rebuild the chassis right? Problem is I can't identify it! Everything on this game is dated 1981. The service manual (I found inside) shows a shapr 97232-P Monitor with nanao 97334-P chassis. Could these be Sega's part numbers or reference numbers? The tube does have a sticker on it that reflects the Sharp number. I've looked on http://www.jomac.net.au/mon.htm and bob roberts' try to identify this chassis. It resembles a nanao chassis, I just can't tell which one. If you recognize this, please let me know so I can get parts! Thanks a million!.

Even if there isn't a premade "kit" for this monitor, you can write down the cap values and order them from a place like Mouser.

I can do that. There is an awesome electronics store close to me. Cheap cheap!! My concern is that after a cap kit, the flyback will have added stress & leave this world. Any ideas on how to get a replacment for it?

Not a clue. Only suggestion is to Google the model number of the number on the side of the fly and see if you get lucky.
