Frisky Tom with issues

Yes, I need to read the electrical for dummies book. I told you my electrical knowledge is next to non-existant, lol.

Added pics above. So, I think we are good to go. I will connect one lead to 6.3v on the pcb edge connector, and the other to ground on the edge connector of the pcb.

Wish me luck........and lots of it. Time to test the pcb.

Ok, plugged it all into the jamma adapter setup, turned it on, and its still keeps re-setting and repeating: (no smoke, no explosions :) )

ROM TEST OK
RAM TEST OK

and it continually repeats this.

I tested with a lead at the ground on the edge connector, and a lead at the 6.3v on the edge connector and I am getting 6.5v at the pcb.

So this re-setting problem must be a pcb issue.....but what though?

Does it do the same thing without the 6.3VAC plugged in?
Give me some time and I will dig up my nothes about since some time ago I worked on this PCB and made it working.

Involved pin are the 10 and 27 pf the edge connector.Did you connect the two blue wires of the transformer to these ones (order is not important)

Holy mack, I HAVE PICTURE AND SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wiggled the Z80 and BOOM, it popped up. I will clean the legs better now.

Thank you caius and everyone for your help. Frisky Freain Cool man :)

Here you go :) Now that was an undertaking just to test and sell a pcb, lol.

lol, I want to sell most the 300 pcb's I have :) But better to sell working.

Plus, I get a few badly needed lessons in electronics along the way, lol.

Nobody is born with infused knowledge. The only advice I can give is to make as much as possible experience on arcade hardware, this is a great value more than one million of lessons in electronics.
