I got a lot of stuff off Dave, Not A Friend , I Have No Friends and want to keep it that way.
From what I see .
He Has Over Extended Himself in this Hobby.
When the Credit Cards, Credit Lines , Ect, Are Dry, Chit Comes to a End.
I think He will be back And I hope he does becouse he is no different than us.
He Is Trying, I would think from what he has done in the past for all of us.
Give him Some Time To work It Out.

This if funny. I haven't even looked at the dave section since it was created. Totally forgot I was even on his friends list. Since I don't usually send friend requests unless it's someone I know well or have had dealings with on the forum over time, I'm sure I didn't ask dave to be a friend. I also know a number of people on his friends list that don't care for him so I have to imagine they are also unaware that dave is a "friend." I deleted him as a friend because I saw this thread and I see no real point to the "friend" thing any how. Certainly don't support dave's actions. I know others on his friends list don't either they could just care less about the "friend" list. Not sure what the point of it is any way.
I don't think you are way off with your assessment. Problem is, he is OUT of ram controls. someone else took over.
I don't think he has a drug problem, I think he is a gambler. And he was 1 good run away from getting back on track.
that run hasn't happened yet.

I don't have anything personally against him. Too many people have lost money now though.

I started to notice a pattern with how Dave "raised funds". I lived in Las Vegas 8 years and I can pick up the signs of a gambling problem pretty quickly. I'm guessing he would go on a binge; poker, tables, slots, whatever and sometimes he would WIN, Dave has had money at times and I think he has had A LOT of money at times.
Then the inevitable slide, that's why casinos are open 24/7, so you can keep playing and eventually lose. Always looking for that last "score", he just could not control himself. As the ways he collected money decended into the abyss, it's obvious he was "steaming" to even up again. Then the cycle would start again and each time it got a bit worse and the amounts of money involved started to get larger until everything imploded, just a matter of time...

I think it's also the fact that he sells repro parts that no one else really has. Where else are you going to get a brand-new Major Havoc controller? That kind of thing attracts attention, and if you don't follow KLOV, it would be easy to not know what seems to be going on.
At this point, finding an entire forum dedicated to the guy should be a clue, but I bet lots of folks have never heard of KLOV, but still want the parts he sells.

It's not the ones that don't know. It's the ones that do that are saying stuff like give him some time to work it out. I think we're past the time to work it out point. Sounds like over $25,000 this clown has stolen. These people have no clue. Go ahead butthead send him some money so you can get ripped off then maybe you'll see the light. I doubt it though.

Let's say for a second that you didn't read all posts about Dave saying he had Star Wars cockpits ready to ship and that he told people that he shipped them out, but the shipping company went under, etc, etc.
This is not the disorganized Dave of yesteryear. This is the Dave that took people for thousands of dollars each and this was supposedly not even a pre-order in some cases...
So go read the other thread and you will see why everyone wants their money back and for David to go to jail.
