This question is kinda related, but does anybody know if Tournament Qix (Qix 2) was just a upgrade on roms or a different romset? Never knew this existed till recently....

I think it might actually be a jamma board, I cant say for sure.
I have played it in mame, its nowhere near good as the original.

Thanks. I like it alot. The game is simple. That is not to say it is easy. Some may find it boring, but you have to remember it's from 1981
I like it alot, but this is what was in the arcades when I was growing up. It is quite nostalgic for me to have been able to get one.Thanks! Other than some bubbling on the monitor surround (real glass ya know!) it is more then I could have ever hoped for, especially for the price.

Wrong game. You're thinking of Super Qix. (And yeah, it kind of stinks.)
Tournament Qix was more of a variant like Tournament Arkanoid - very similar to the original games.
