I got a heck of a deal on this game and now I'm passing on the savings to you. I'll stand on my head to give you a better deal. Better get it before I come to my senses. Go see Cal, Go see Cal, Go see Cal!

$100 takes it, as is. This includes the game, newly capped monitor including new pot-kit from Bob Roberts, new "big blue", and an uninstalled new CPO. That's less than I've got into it folks.

I'm just tired of futzing around with it. Someone take it and send the board off for repair and be happy with it.

Here's the history:

Smokin' deal and a great story (how you got it). I love when people have enough honor to keep their word (the Moose Lodge guy) and enough respect for others to tell the truth even when it's risky (you, admitting they are worth more than he was asking).

Asteroids`

You can buy a working board for around 100$ shipped. Why would you give up and take a loss? You can get your board repaired for around the same price.

i offered my board to him for $40 shipped if he gave me his dead one. Mine needs a HS kit to work, it had a rom or rom socket issue. I put my HS save kit in to test it and it workd great.
the offer still stands.

That is a good deal. Most of us would install the HS kit anyways. Damn decent of you to offer that.

don't throw in the towel yet

Hey man, don't give up on that game yet. It sounds like your almost there. It's a great game. I regret getting rid of my old one.
I'm currently restoring one from the bare cabinet up. I'm just waiting for t-moulding & the CPO to finish the cabinet. I've still gotta find a monitor & PCB, but I'm sure when the time is right I'll find a monitor. The PCB is easier. I'd jump at ArcRevival's trade & $40 offer, that's a great deal!

Aaaarghhhhhh. Ok, I just got on for the first time today and saw all your responses. Now I don't know what the heck I want to do. I'm at work so I don't have time to figure it all out but you are all making me rethink this. You bunch of dorks.

That is a great deal! Do it and enjoy playing Asteroids again!

You guys really don't think it would be a wuss deal for me to unlist it for sale at this point after getting a few people's hopes up already? I haven't contacted any of them but several people seem really excited about it.

I wish this board had polls so I could ask properly!

Nah. I think most people here would be happy to see you succeed with it. - Barry

Thanks for saying so. But disclaimer: My intention was to fix it up and sell it so that I could make a few dollars to be able to fix up the Tempest (a keeper). So does that make a difference?

I'd ask ArcRevival on that one as he is the one offering you a great deal on the board.
