All of them are complete and the guy even through in the extra PCB, A/R II, and monitor from a third Battlezone he had.

Just looking quickly at them the only lost cause is one of the Omega Race cabinets... water damaged, wood swelling, glue joints popped, front panel kicked in and broken a bit, and *MAJOR* battery damage to the PCB to boot.

The other Omega Race PCB is in pretty nice condition. Only a small amount of battery damage right where the battery was. Looks like it was snipped early on.

Now it's off to bed because... I'm tired from unloading and moving all those games by myself. Battlezone cabinets really aren't *that* heavy. :D

Nice score keep us updated on your progress! You look too young and untired in that photo! Maybe it was too much bicycling from school today that did you in!

Nice haul! I think that was the same bundle someone posted about on COS. I take it you'll make one good cab from the 2 OR games?

That's the plan. The only bummer is the "good" cabinet has had the front artwork mostly painted over. The "bad" cabinet still has most of the artwork, but the panel has major swelling on the bottom and was partially kicked in on the left side.

I need more time to really look at the "bad" cabinet but I'm pretty sure my first impressions are going to be right... even the wifey noticed how swelled up the bottom is. :)

I saw the ad for those to, and was worried what I would find after the 5 hour drive, so I passed on it. But it looks like it was a very good score. Congrats. Those Battlezones look good.

The guy was very cool. He talked about his brother having some more games like Lunar Lander and Star Castle so I figured they were vector nuts in the past. He couldn't find all his extra parts so he said once he does, he'll give me a call next time he's down my way... very nice guy.

He was shocked at how many people replied to the ad with "stupid" questions(his word not mine). I guess there were lots of requests for pictures... or people asking if he'd hold the games for a week, or whatever. He liked my "I can pick them up today if you still have them" email... short and sweet. :)

VERY NICE!!

I'm always short and sweet when I email on Craigslist. It's usually, "I'll take it. I can pick it up NOW. Call me."

Now that's a effin score!! Wow...I think I like the Space Panic the best; I forgot how cool the cabinet is. Last time I saw one and played it was in 1984 at the grocery store in my little town. Very cool. Thanks for posting up those pictures and congrats on the nice haul!

The kids and wifey *love* the Space Panic. My son is really into comic books so all the artwork really appeals to him. And yep, it's in nice condition. I love the Universal cabinets because the artwork seems to make it a long time in good condition... seems like the use a thicker "sticker" that's very shiny so cleanup is easy.
