FREE - Parts: Freebie Friday Thread

I wrote about "progressive maintenance" once, and how I was overhauling every part of my plane, one piece at a time.

A doctor opined that I "had a morbid fascination with death." I replied it was the opposite - I fly single pilot IFR (instrument flight rules). It's a stressful environment, and not one for the poorly prepared. I do everything I can to NOT have more excitement during such flights.

I'm a little late, but what the heck.

A NEW FREEBIE FRIDAY ITEM! Up for the price of shipping is what I believe is a vintage Williams wood rail pinball leg.

This was on a Chicago Coin Super Score, and was too long and didn't match. Rather than cut it down, I had a new leg made and removed this one.

From the pictures, you can see it is 30 1/2" in length. It is coped for the corner. There is no insert in the bottom for a leg leveler, but you can add one if you wish.

It does have the through-rivet on the top, which is still there. The finish is as-shown, it shows a little water discoloration on the bottom of the leg from it's time before I picked up the game.

It weighs a few pounds (I haven't weighed it yet). If you are interested, DM me your address, I'll wrap it in cardboard and ship it to you for the price of shipping any way you want to ship it.

By the way, if you see this and know it isn't a Williams wood rail leg, let me know what it is. Thanks

Ok here it is! Get it before I change my mind! Get it before I start robbing parts off it. Just get it out of my way! The granddaddy of all freebies! The self-proclaimed freebie of the year! A freebie to make your father's day!

Let's kick this thread back in action with.... one Rockola Jukebox! YES, you read that right. A whole jukebox. Complete. I think it even has the coin door and bag.... but let's list that as missing until I find it.... It's complete otherwise. I haven't touched it in 5 years. These Rockolas are robust boxes, but not if you don't keep them oiled and moving... and that's what happened here. You'll have to take things apart, degunk, degrease, unsieze, and re-lubricate all the mechanicals. But you should be able to get it going. I've never had one I haven't been able to yet with a healthy dose of penetrating oil and a bunch of elbow grease.

Not the original glass, somebody put in blue textured plastic which doesn't look too terrible. (I think one of originals is behind one of them if I remember right.) No shipping, sorry this thing won't fit in a flat rate box. You're gonna have to pick this one up, or arrange someone to do it.

And no records. Your dad probably wouldn't like my music anyway. :big_boss:

The story.

I was asked to make tags to show who was a current video arcade tech at the muesum of pinball in banning ca.

I made plastic pin on tags. The plastic housing has long been lost in the shuffle of life but i have run across these self stick Inserts.

I was wondering if anyone wants one of these sticker as a reminder of what was once the muesum of pinball.
