Free Tekken 3 on Easter

My second freebee! CL ad went up last night. Roy called me, but I didn't see the call until today. I called him, and he gave me the number to the guy who was giving it away. I call him, and he says come get it. I eat lunch, and go to his house afterward. It was out in the driveway. He helped me push it into the bed of the truck and I drive away. Check out the condition of this thing. I love freebees'. The serial number on the Dyno cab is #115. That seems low caparatively. Is that low?

He said it plays blind. I didn't have time to trouble shoot it yet, but it is probably either the chassis or isolation transformer (hopefully I found something stupid like unconnected wires).

Very nice! That cabinet is spot on, better than the condition of any cabs I've bought in these recent months. I mean most of mine play, but they've certainly been around..........all play except the empty Neo 50 i got and this banged up Final Fight.

I'm putting a wild guess out there on it being Marvel Super Heroes/COTA. I have a thing about seeing this specific cabinet style in the wild with those two games in it, it appears to be blue and the CP is drilled for it.

im glad to see you got it! you know my space situation, when i emailed him last night he was very enthusiastic about giving me his number. although i knew i couldnt have it, i knew someone on here would want it. on another note, my son agreed to clear out his entire room so we could make it into a game room. i rented a storage room and we spent the weekend clearing it out, going to buy a futon for him and start moving my games in there this week. were both really excited about it, i will have room for about 2 more games!

Nice HS9 with a K7000 25" monitor.
It seems pretty solid with no moisture damage and a clean interior. You can't beat that.

Fixing it shouldn't be too hard also. It's also so easy to convert since the CP is Capcom-6 ready.

The CP was ripped away at some point and they fixed it in an interesting way by puting in plates.

Yea, the cab and the components are in excellent condition. Once I get it fixed it will be the score of the decade for me.

The flyback is new. The guy told me that 3 days after he got it the monitor went out. He said he changed out the flyback, and gave up after that didn't fix it. He said the monitor wasn't getting power (that's what makes me think it's the isolation transformer). I will trouble shoot it this weekend. Hopefully it something easy.

Thanks buddy. I wouldn't have got it with out you tipping me off. That's cool your son let you expand the game room, however I don't think we could ever have enough room for all the things we want..lol. Hey I will hosting a basic troubleshooting session this Sunday at my house let me know if you want to come.

No water damage at all. Sweet huh. I hope I can get this 25" up and running soon.

Wow, that is such a clean cab, and free! You can't beat that. Looks like you have a nice 25 inch horizontal JAMMA+ cab. Free cabs don't come up often (for me at least) so treasure it!

Watch out - it looks like he patched the focus lead onto the old one with tape. Be sure that's insulated good, it's a couple thousand volts!

I highly doubt it's the isolation transformer. They almost never fail. Even so, easy enough to check, just unplug the monitor and check the voltage at the connector.

I'm betting when he changed the flyback he didn't put a new HOT in, or forgot to replace the fuse or something.

I see it. There is a chunk of a continent showing, which is difficult to spot at first because it camouflages with the newer CPO.

The underlying CPO is for sure a SSF. I went out and looked at it closely.
