Free: Stargate and Gridiron Fight Cabs, Schwenksville, PA

Just posted these to Craiglist as well. I have two free arcade game cabinets, including a Stargate and Gridiron Fight tabletop. Both cabinets are in good condition for their age, some wear, but still okay. Stargate is empty with the exception of a working 19" arcade monitor. The Gridiron fight has everything but it control panels and boardset and back door (just a piece of wood). The monitor also works in the Gridiron Fight. Great for multigame cabinets or sticking consoles in them for the arcade experience. You must take both cabinets.

These cabinets usually go fast when I give them away. Preference given to somebody who can pick this up quickly. If want "super preference", offer me a case of beer:) Cabinets are located in Schwenksville, PA. Serious inquiries only!!! Please, please don't contact me if you don't have the means to pick these cabinets up quickly (in a day or two).

My thoughts exactly. What a nice looking cabinet, why's it been stripped?

Also curious if that gridiron used to be an Atari Football?

That is a dedicated Gridiron Fight although it looks to have a replacement glass instead of the curved original. Much, much better football game than Atari X&Os IMHO.

I was going to offer up a working pcb if someone wanted to save it, but quarter arcade has both the pcb and the control panels on their website..

I'd try to save the Gridiron Fight, listed it on eBay and got a whopping $100 and the guy never showed up to pick it up. I just don't have enough space these days to warehouse games like this, so I parted it out.

not your fault especially if you did try to ebay it.. The public had a chance to get it.. If it was local, I would grab it..

Maybe next time before you part an uncommon game out, post something here first. maybe someone will get motivated to save it..

It seems very few people ever got to play the game which is a shame.

For your movie/arcade buffs, it did make an appearance at the arcade in The Karate Kid.

Hi Anthony,
Just saw these earlier today on craigslist, and sent you an e-mail.
I can pick them up tomorrow(if good for you) and will bring whatever beer you want.

Also need to get the correct nuts for the white buttons while I'm there,

Later

Just informed they are gone already, DAMN
