Free project NSM Jukebox (for local pickup Mounds View MN)
I have a 1969-70(ish) NSM Prestige 160 Jukebox in really nice cosmetic shape that I'd like to find a new home for.
I purchased it a number of years ago with the intention of restoring it for my gameroom. Shortly after I bought this I received a different juke that fits my gameroom decor better but I still kept this one with intentions of fixing and selling it. Now I'd just rather have the space.
So here's the dirt...
I'd like to find someone local (no shipping or parting out) who can restore it and/or use it because it's too nice to be parted out for eBay.
The top of tone arm on the machine is plastic and was broken off before I got it; since then I have picked up a box of parts that contains a replacement arm along with most of another assembly in terms of parts.
The machine will take credits so you can program a song and the play meter will increase but the unit won't scan. I did check the test points and found that there is 150v missing in the power section.
You will need to purchase a set of needles and a headshell. I don't have any paperwork for this machine and I think it's missing three of the plastic title strip holders too.
Thanks,
Dave
