I picked these up on Craigslist during lunch. These were in the "Free" section. They've been at a laundromat for about 10 years so are a little beat up. Neither currently work but you can't beat free and I think there's about 10 dollars of change on the bottoms of these.

I just thought I would share.

Those will look great turned back into the Robotron and Sinistar that they should be.

Although that Robotron looks a little swelled....

Its not swelling. It's a a 1/16" plywood that was put on both machines sides. There is not water damage from what I can see, but there's some work to be done for sure. I'm not sure what's underneath the ply, but I'm hoping it was put there to hide the original side-art.

oh! and thanks for letting me know what the original cabs were. I'm sure I would have asked that question eventually once I got these home and checked them out. I'm still at work and they're still in the back of my truck in the company parking lot. lol.

The Sinistar/Tiger-Heli just needed a new power supply and is now at least working. The power supply in it was not producing any DC voltage. The other cabinet is doing the same thing, but I only had one spare.

Tiger Heli is a hell of a game. Although it may be a bit dated and simplistic. It might be worth fixing it to give it a whirl. You might find that you really like it.

I replaced both power supplies and now I have two working games. A friend of mine who got out of the arcade hobby a while back game me the extra power supply. So I have two free games and it didn't cost me anything to get them working.

The Tiger-Heli blew the florescent bulb i put in it. I think the transformer is fried so I can't show the lighted marquee until I get that replaced but here are some pics.
