FREE Parts - RAM Controls

Hey guys. I'm already working on reproduction Wico joystick assemblies. I've got a good grip on how to make these, including the actual base and the leaf switches. It's a piece of cake. Only problem is that it's way down near the bottom of my to-do list. I might move it up a bit as I complete some of my current projects, though. You guys just need to hold out awhile. If someone else comes along and does them in the meantime, I will bow-out since I have very little time and not so much money invested in them at the moment. Once I dump the money into the molds for the base components, there's no turning back. LOL

Thanks Dave!

The 720 stick showed up in the mail today, and it is awesome. Here's a comparison pic:

i missed mine today, damn tag on the door....Should be here tommorrow...im PUMPED.....Will post when i have it in my hands

Here is a picture "borrowed" from Wu that shows the sticks. Williams games predominantly used Wico leaf switches (except the optical ones). If you look at the light blue #7 (Joust blue) stick, it has a 4" shaft. The yellow #6 (Joust yellow) stick has a 3.5" shaft.

Ken,

You can get the Joust sticks from Arcadeshop already.

They sell the set for $29. I bought some a while back and it looks like they still sell them.

Those are for the upright Joust mechanical joystick (they also sell those on Arcadeshop).

What I was referring to was 4" ball and shafts for the Wico 8 way joysticks to use in multi-Williams, so they look like Joust sticks but play Robotron the right way.

Also the Light Blue ones would work for Bubbles.

@ Dave Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh I want free shit.
Why so expensive? Probably because AS probably bought 500 of these damn things to get a decent price. And now they are trying to recoup their investment by asking 4x's what they paid per piece.

It's ok to triple or quadruple a price when the price is still decent (like $25.00 for a flyback) but $15.00 for a friggin handle PLUS shipping? And your shipping will most likely be $10-$12.00. Bullshit. A complete set of joys sure - but not for the shaft only. Wait a minute - you are getting the shaft three times when you order a set. think about that one.

Got my huge ball today!!!! Very nice!!!! Thanks again for the great gift.....feedback is on its way. Thanks again!!!

I got mine yesterday, but had no idea it was there. I moved the big wheel and that's how I found it. :) The UPS guy had put it under my kids big wheel.

I received the 5 short volcano black buttons. They look awesome.

Yeah I can see that happening, I cant wait until I get the rest of the machines for my shop at some point I'm going to get a plastic molding machine and a bench top lathe. Once that day comes I wont be buying anything unless its materials to make stuff. Maybe a metal bender and cutter as well can't make the good stuff without those.
