FREE Pac Man near St. Louis

Dang. I'm considering it, mostly because I acquired my two games in working condition and would like to tinker with one. But, we'll see.

I emailed and provided my number... I was about an hour too late ... anyone on the forum get it.

I have never gotten a free game.

I bet now they wish they had put a price on it.

It all has to do with perceived value. If they just saw these machines as bulky items that took up space and nothing else, then they were worth nothing to them and probably just wanted them out of there—much like I would do with an old couch or chair. It's worth something to someone, but if you don't want the hassle, why bother? Curb it and let the wolves fight it out.

Yeah, I'm sure somebody is really happy to have them!

I did realize that I posted this in the wrong section, sorry about that.

I think I was the runner-up in this sweepstakes. The guy left me a message saying he had a guy coming from Bloomington, Il the next day and that I could have them if he didn't show. Guess he could have called several people and told them that, who knows. Never got the call :-(

Who knows. If they had around 200 responses you could've been anywhere in that mix. They should've done first come first serve. Whoever shows up there with a truck first takes it. End of story. No point disappointing a bunch of people with a "maybe."
