FREE Monday... Tokyo Cop video game in Des Moines Iowa

I have a one location TC to get rid of. It is the big one like here:
http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=12882

It is non working and the issue is with the CPU. The game all worked until the cpu stopped booting. The monitor is in great shape and the overall condition of it is GREAT! I have been the tech responsible for it since we bought it new. I can tell you in the ~5 years we owned and operated it there were no issues with it. Now it has paid for it self and it is time for it to go somewhere else. It is located in Des Moines Iowa at Jordan Creek mall. Since I am offering this for free I will not be helping you load this or doing anything to ship it.

I will say that it is complete except the CPU is currently not with the game. I'm waiting for it to be sent back to me from the repair shop. The game is really in very good shape with the (minor) exception being the cpu will not boot.

Please email me at [email protected] if you want this game.

Thanks,

Chris

Wow. Merry Christmas. Very nice offer. I am close. I wish I had something to haul it in and better yet, a place to put it. :)

If only I could justify another game in the gameroom and a 10 hour roundtrip drive to my wife. That's a great offer for somebody.

Yea if it is still here after the holiday's I am going to call the local junk hauler to come pick it up and landfill it.

Somebody GET THIS!! It would make a great mame driver if you can't fix the cpu - its PC based I believe (and I'd be really really interested if someone could get pics of inside the CPU box).

If it ends up being scrapped, I would very much be interested in a bunch of parts from it, especially the CPU, wiring, shit whatever besides the cabinet would fit into a big box lol. My speaker grills are all banged up.

WHY CAN'T YOU BE CLOSER!

I love this game!

This is the one with the motorized car that tosses you around. It all worked and had for the life of the game. I think it has a 32" or 35" monitor. Game cabinet is about as close to flawless as I have seen.

Whoever is picking this up from Chris better bring some friends. This game is a beast with that base part that moves weighing a good amount. There is no way you are getting that in a truck with 2 of you unless you are ripped!!!

Trust me, I put the game there!!!

After seeing the size of the game at Orion's place I agree unless your Superman don't go alone LOL. The size of the monitor cabinet section alone is enough to make one's nuts fall of attempting to lift it.

If this truely is an intel based game the CPU might be available used on the Net. I would be curious if that would solve the issue.

The monitor cabinet section you could probably move by yourself, but the motion seat chair part, there is no way you are budging it or lifting it by yourself. You AT LEAST need 3-4 people to pick that part up.

TC is a monster

Yea the size is the reason I said I would not be helping load or move this thing. It also has some bearing on why I didn't take it and fix it myself.

I was going to take this bad boy but there is no way I could bring guys to help since Im not local, just measured the stairwell and it does not appear I could get it down there anyhow, yikes bit off more than I can chew, I emialed the OP to let him know I wont be able to grab it, shame too because it is a sweet game and the price is right...

You were going to bring this downstairs into a basement or something? Good luck getting it in the door, let alone down any stairs. I guess it could be done if you have some weight lifting buddies!! If you did get it, that game would never come out of your basement!!!
