FREE: Magical Touch CRT Touchscreen game (complete) / FS: LCD USB Touchscreen (NoVA)

Hey,

First, I've got a FREE Magical Touch cabinet (looks like a Megatouch knock off), complete, but disassembled and only partially working. Here's the story on it... my uncle gave this to me a year or so ago, and I planned on turning it into a touchscreen jukebox.

So last Friday I started the project, which was completely dead and just some blue lines on the monitor. I found the power supply is dead, so the boards may or may not work... it looks to be a decased AT power supply. The boards look like a standard 386 motherboard and some ISA cards. The game didn't look too interesting and I just wanted a jukebox, so I just pulled the guts out and started fixing the monitor (and I threw out my AT power supplies years ago).

I fixed part of the monitor, now it just has some major foldover (see the pics). I'd start by replacing the vertical output IC (the heatsink was REALLY hot), though a capkit probably wouldn't hurt (I checked the caps in the vertical output section and replaced one that was open and it got a little better). It's a 13" (I think) and runs at 640x480. I never got a chance to test the touchscreen, but it looks to be all there (has a DB9 serial cable).

Anyway, long story short, the next day I came across a pair of LCD touchscreens locally, so I decided I'd rather have that for my jukebox. So, I'm likely to never use this, and I've got too many projects as it is, so if anyone wants a FREE touchscreen cabinet for a jukebox, or to put back to Magical Touch, come and get it. Must take everything... not looking to part it out (and the cab is pretty heavy, but carryable by one person).

--------------------------

I also have an LCD touchscreen for sale ($100 OBO)... it's a 15" elo entuitive, 1024x768 native resolution, VGA connector, and USB for the touchscreen. The case could use a little cleaning, but it's fully tested and working. I've got another one of these hooked up on my jukebox and it's really nice, and I can hook this one up and show you it working before you buy it.

--------------------------

Everything's pick up only... I'm in Manassas Park, VA (20111).

Thanks,
DogP

The magical touch is spoken for, pending pickup. The LCD is still available, but still pick up only for now. I'll let you guys know if I change my mind, but I hate shipping, so I tend to horde things before shipping them :p .
