I was at my cottage for the week and found this sitting at the nearby dump! All I get is the fan when I plug it in. The monitor is a G07 and has Pac-Man burn, but the neck got cracked from the coin box :( . I cannot find any information about "tech-tron". Is the cabinet an original Pac-Man? What game is the PCB?

Thanks

The cabinet looks Midway-esque. The PCB appears to be a Pac-Man clone. Too bad about the tube being bad.

Does the cabinet have any indication of manufacturer?

A few months ago, I saw a Craig's List ad where somebody was selling an Arkanoid in an upright cab that had the exact same Tech-Tron logo on the control panel. I tried to identify the cab, but came up with nothing. It had a Midway style coin door, but without a Midway logo.

Kyle

I did not see any indication of a manufacturer, although on the glass it said something like "glass made by (forgot company name)". Maybe it was a company that just made generic replacement parts for games? The coin door is made by a Canadian company called "coin mech". Unfortunately the game is at my cottage, so it will be a while before I can check the company on the glass. I did find a logo on the PCB, it looks like a bird? The cab may look very rough, but the body is very solid. I am going to try to fix it up before I consider gutting it. Besides it is only my forth cab ;) .

The logo is from Falcon International. Attached flyer is for logo comparison only. Have no idea if its the same game:

I didn't know Falcon made any legit games (well, assuming the games in that flyer are legit...Yamato was made by Sega, so it might not be), but they did do alot of bootlegs (Crazy Kong for one :D ) It looks like the burn-in on the monitor is a Ms Pac maze though, not Pac-Man, so I'd guess it has a Falcon Ms Pac bootleg board.

Just take the cabinet apart and use it as a template to make another shouldn't be that bad but it may require the purchase of a router and Slot bit plus maybe a few other bits.
