Actually, the characters are right but the wording is backwards, so swapping the yoke won't help...

Hey, I'm in Texas, too. Just pull the board out, take it in the house, pull your chips and clean them, check your other stuff, then you can take it out later and stick it in.
And pull that bezel off and clean the tube...
I also have an interlock switch you can have as well. I parted out 2 Pacs and 2 Ms Pacs with water damage so I have a bunch of odds and ends just gathering dust in the garage so anything else you need I may have it.
Update:
It's still too hot to work in the garage, but I pulled the boards and cleaned and reseated the ROMS and the other chips in sockets. I think it probably needs a cap kit as well. There was some sticky crud by a couple of the big caps and nowhere else.
Anyway, the results are in and the picture speaks for itself.

This is a true, free to a good home, just needed a fuse (or two) success story. Take that KLOV urban legends....
As you can see from the pic there is some screen burn which is not evident when the power is off, but that may just be due to the dust on the screen. The pic doesn't show it, but the monitor needs a cap kit bad. I have a rebuilt chassis just sitting waiting for a good home and a rebuilt WG4900 laying around so that shouldn't be a problem.
I also put some bulbs in the coin door and they lit up nicely. It coins up although the coin switch wires need to be bent into shape, they don't move freely in the channel right now. The marquee light is out, but that will probably only take a new starter and bulb.
All in all, a seriously good find. Now I'm a little less jealous of all the good deals that have been talked about lately.

Looking good... You find and adjust the focus on that chassis? Yeah, cap it and get one of the dark plexi pieces that the pac games are supposed to have and it will help hide that burn. Your deal just keeps getting better and better.![]()
I think it has the plexi, that's why the burn doesn't show when it is powered off. What doesn't show in that picture is that the backgound starts as pure black at the top and nearly white at the bottom. It is also fuzzy. The focus might help, but I will wait until I pull it before I try futzing with the controls. I zapped myself playing with the Galaga (pronounced G*d D*mn Piece of Sh*t), trying to tune the monitor while it was in the cabinet. Reaching around blind inside an open frame monitor is not a recommended procedure.

I picked-up a Xevious from a fellow years ago and that was his response. Got it home, replaced the fuse and it fired right-up, so it does happen.Update:

Fast forward 1 week. I pulled the bezel from the Ms P I had in storage. It was nearly perfect. New ballast, starter and fluorescent tube. Swapped in the tube from the Galaga to 48n1 project and it looks amazing.
