I have an ok condition Donkey Kong control panel and Im willing to give it away for free and pay for shipping. Control panel has a good bit of surface scratches and little crack by the jump button but when a button is installed you shouldn't see it, burn marks here and there and, instruction card is in ok condition. A little work and some plastic scratch remover would make this look allot better, its solid and artwork underneath is in good shape. If you know what you are doing you could remove some of the burn marks with fine sandpaper because they are not burn that deep. Has couple micro switches and wiring harness. I feel like being a nice guy. To make things fair I'm going to include some rules. Hmmm lets make this 3 day long so Ill ship it out Monday whenever we get the closest match to the rules. Dont pm me, ill pm you sunday night.

1. Post a pic of a worse condition control panel and prove that you need it or a project cab that needs it
2. Be active on the forum
3. Have at least 500 post
4. No negative feedback
5. Dont be a douche bagg, let someone who needs this have it
6. Be in the continental us states

How about having a DK cab but no control panel?

Man I'd really like that to have all the competitors sign at the kong off in jersey. I'm eligible except I don't have a worse control panel :)

It would be for a good cause! :)

wow thatll clean up nice after ditching or replacing the plexi. I dont have a ninty(tm) so im not throwing my hat into the ring, but thanks for offering stuff up for free to a good home, for reals.

Since you have not had a Nintendo I can understand what you said but if you ditch the plexi you ditched everything but the instruction card. DK cps are screened onto the bottom of the plexi. The instruction sheet is just that, a sheet of paper taped onto the non-screened part of the plexi.

About a year and a half ago I would have won this for sure. I had a Dk with the worst CP I've ever seen. I don't even think I took a pic. I have another DK project coming up but already have the parts I need. Good job on the free contest, I think it's awesome. Been thinking about doing something similar, perhaps I will soon.....

Do you have a control panel with the joystick on the right side by chance?

j/k

Nice thing to do. It will find a good home I'm sure.

Very nice of you to do. I have a pretty rough DK Junior CPO but just bought a new one of those so I don't qualify. Seems there are two candidates so far paul400 and xxstatic, if you overlook the post count criteria. Good luck to those guys!

I am out of the running since I dont have 500 post. My DK resto is CP, marquee, and PCB-less :)

GL to all!

Post a pic, the other two guys you're up against don't have their post count up to spec, either. ;)

And... Just start posting up a storm...? Make a new thread called "Increasing my post count" and then go batshit crazy. Then the rest of us can just ignore that thread... Lol.

I like this concept, if I had more time to mess with people I would do the same, people will do anything these days for a hand out no matter how small, look how they suck up to you now, they're give you their loyalty for a crummy piece of plastic, I love it, Genius.
