Picked this baby up for FREE yesterday! Weird seeing an arcade game at the end of someones driveway just left there for someone to pick up!!! Rare cabinet but pretty much missing all the original parts. What should I do with it???

No, not to a cab that rare... if you can't find a pcb I would run the original game on mame inside it so it's as close as possible.

Yes, it would be great to see that restored. The wiring and PS should be easy. Can any other more common boards be converted to that game?

God I hate this game, but seeing those stick in that CP....restore it. Or sell it to me and I will restore it. Even if restore means mounting a CPU or board in there to emulate the game but use the original CP and buttons, this original sideart is not to be ruined. Seeing a cabinet like this is always bittersweet, you get happy seeing it still intact but annoyed at what has been done to it. I don't like the code in the game, but this cabinet is a part of history.

Agreed, please restore or sell it to me :D

At first I had the intention to multi game it, never seen or played the original I have no sentimental value for it. But discovering that it's a rare cab I think I need to find a way to bring it back. Plus the sideart is really cool. It would be a shame to paint over it. I did a search for a CPO and bezel but so far did not find anything repro wise. There is a marquee on ebay right now and I can get the brackets from a local operator. It was probably one of his games at one time, and he does have a stack of bezels!! I could get lucky!

Missed it by that much

Just missed this one. Was asking the guy if he would hold it for me but already gone. Good to see you doing the right thing with it though; all I was really concerned about. Did it come with a pcb? if not the right one maybe trade fodder at least. More pics of the guts not sure I have ever seen one this old. Would like to know if the monitor is original too. Good score anyhow grats!

Awesome!! I guess that solves my CPO problem!!!?? :)

Indeed! I know a guy on craigslist selling one of these custom control panels for only $800! For another $500, he'll add in a flight stick, steering wheel, trackball, and spinner! Doing so will only make the overall size 50' wider, too!

Ya I had to be quick! Seen it on Kijiji late the night before and the next morning I thought, what are the chances this is still sitting there? Lucky it was only a few blocks from my house. Sure enough I went with my SUV and there it was. No one around I phoned my brother and got his truck, beat another guy there by about a minute!!! He was pissed for a second but then helped me load it and talked games for a awhile! Great guys in this hobby! I could see people inside the house looking out the window but no one came out. Felt weird.

Anyway, inside nothing left original except isolation transformer, monitor has been flipped horizontal( i assume original but heavy burn from another game). Someone jamma'd it. There is a pcb but not sure what game it is, I think it's a capcom. I tested and there is power going to monitor but won't turn on so not sure the deal with that.

I have never played or even seen that one. If original parts are not easy to find, if you rewire that to a Stern/Konami pinout, there are a couple of dozen boards you could put in there.

If you can find scans of the CPO, I'd gladly vector it. I don't want to see such a nice game go to waste!

Nice pick up, if you decide to restore it back I have some of the cabinet parts. I had to destroy 2 of these cabs that were water damaged bad this spring. Cabs were converted to jamma but kept anything that looked salvageable. I'm only 2 hours away!
