Wow...Now thats lucky. Who in their right mind would dump that?
Go back to the dump. Find the guy. Give him $20 and your business card/phone number. Tell him if any other cabs come in to give you a call and you can put another bill in his hand if it is a taker.
Nice score.
Nope...dead as a doornail. No worries, though. It shouldnt take too long to get her flying again....so heres the next question:
is it showing any signs of life?

Wow... what a great find!
At our local dump, they get *very* upset if you start even looking through the garbage. I've gotten to be on decent terms with a couple of them though so I'll bet if I asked nicely they may let me "grab and run".
Again, awesome find and thanks for the pictures!
Just have one question for you guys............
Where do you find this "dump" that you speak of?
I don't know anywhere that you can drop off trash in any of the local townships.
I do remember 30 years back my dad taking me to one place in the city (a junk yard or something??) and I bought an old golf club to try and use the handle as an axle for a go cart.
I also visited a friend years ago that lived in Iowa, they had bags and bags of trash sitting in the garage that they had to "take to the dump". Thought it was one of the nastiest things, I'd get a dumpster before I'd drive all my trash to the refuse center.
