Here is what it looks like.

what is left of the performa?

how is the mainboard?
scsi hdd?
floppy/cdrom.

let me know.

DUMP!? NO!!!

You need to send to me :)

You realize how heavy it is? Sure, if you pay shipping and packaging.

And you saw that I said that the plastic case is broken? Oh and I left the keyboard and mouse out in the rain last night. I am sure it is fine.

When I worked at a grey market Apple repair depot in the mid-90s we used to clean puke out of the keyboards by putting them in a dishwasher then lubricating the key switches. Once that was done we replaced any bad key switches.

Water/rain won't hurt those keyboards. Even the ones with plastic membranes. You may have to disassemble and clean any dirt that the rain washed out of the air and deposited in the keyboard.

Now the Performa motherboard, that's another issue. Those suffer from leaking surface mount electrolytic capacitors. You WILL want to remove the caps, clean the residue off, then inspect/repair traces, and put new caps on.

The mac was not in the rain. It works 100%, well it did before I removed all the parts for you guys! ;) None of the caps have leaked yet.

Oh now I know what you mean by monitor carriage. I don't have the time to pull that, and besides is has already been recycled. :D

Woops.

Funny thing is I rescued this Mac from a dumpster 10 years ago.
