I got this monitor in a bulk buy and it had a cracked neckboard, so I bought a spare 4600 chassis for it. Dropped in the 4600 chassis in, and the monitor fired up, but the image was a bit flaky. Recapped it, swapped flybacks, and now it's blowing caps on the deflection board. It's probably just a shorted flyback transformer, but I'm all done playing with this crap.

You get: a complete 13" K4700 monitor, and a spare K4600 chassis.

I get: rid of this.

Not gonna ship this, so you Twin Cities guys, this is all yours. Phet, maybe you'd like to tackle this and have another 13" monitor for your Mini's you're building?

PM me if you want it. I WILL be in Maple Grove on Saturday, at a super secret location that I will not disclose. So you can get it there.

No doubt in my mind I could fix it...but really, why? I don't have any 13" cabs in my collection, and the amount of time I'd spend in it could be better spent working on my 6100 in my Star Wars.

This is purely a ROI choice here. I simply have no need at present for a 13" monitor.

It's all good though, Chris25810 is going to try to take a few Aleve and see if his arthritic hands can still rework a chassis.

Ha... what's your secret? I can't make that bitch help me with anything... even though I have personally hauled trash from his place. ;-)

(j/k Chris... you have given me some good deals)

OK, it's coming with me Saturday. Chris & Shawn, you guys can work it out. I'm sure there's enough parts here to make a fully functional 13" monitor, I just don't need it.

I'll call this 'taken.'
