FOUND!!! (was: Looking for a Midway Haunted House EM rifle game.)

I'm no expert but that looks to me like a fully working Haunted House! Nice work!!!!! Does the speed increase if you successfully reach the appointed score in 20 shots? I'm guessing yes..... sighs. Very jealous.

Although I have some good news myself. I found my game also. Paid a little more than expected but I don't care. It should be leaving on a container ship in a weeks time from NYC. Arriving sometime before Halloween. Yayyyy!!!!

Great to see you found one too! :beerchug:

And the only thing left to fix is the gun recoil. It was cut off sometime in the past so I'm thinking the coil is probably fried. Shouldn't be too tough to fix.

Again, congrats!

I can't wait to get my hands on it! !! So excited. I was wondering you could do me a favour.....I've started a thread asking for help regarding the fuse list fir this machine but had no luck. Could you share some info regarding the ratings and slow blow or not for all 9 fuses. I'd be very grateful buddy.

Understandable. I had to replace the fuse holder on one of the rifle games I have due to "crustiness".

Didn't have a chance to look at the fuses last night, will do it as soon as I get home tonight.

Cheers....

I've seem internal photos of the solenoid array and I can see missing fuses on mine plus some of the slow blows look very crusty. So I just want to make sure i have the correct set when mine arrives...

Here you go...

None of them say slo-blow and I checked the schematics and none say it there either. :dontknow:

Try Mean Green from local dollar store on white sides. I cleaned Gangbusters, and Twin Pirate Gun yellowed sides and was amazed with results.

Thanks, will give it a try. :beerchug: The melamine foam pads got a bit off... but it's still "smoke yellow".

Now the Wild Kingdom I picked up along with this HH is a different story...

I tried it on the trap door and it looks almost freshly painted. Awesome things these pads are.

Damn, congrats! I need to see a picture of this next to my old Spooks!

Thanks! I'm waiting on the restored backglass from BGResto.com for Spooks. Once that comes I'll be sure to snap a picture of the current EM rifles being worked on(Spooks, HH, and Wild Kingdom).

It's funny... the WK got thrown in with the HH for $100 since it was a "non-complete, project". Once I started working on it I realized besides the wiring being cut to a bunch of stuff, it was only missing a small bracket and the 8-track player/tape. The bracket I made out of scrap metal and the 8-track system I am replacing with a cheap .mp3 system(hopefully... working on this little project now). Other than those two things, a motor and PCB needed to be replaced which was $120(thanks again Steve!). So for about $230 I am going to have a fully functioning WK which is going to clean up extremely nice.

This makes the $1350 paid for the HH not soo bad. :)

So jealous. My first EM rifle game was a Wild Kingdom. It was in similar shape to the Spooks I sold you, so probably just an hour or two away from working 100% but I could never figure it out. So I traded it for a Seawolf. If I were you, I'd keep my eye out for a Captain Kidd and an Arctic Gun.

Anybody know what the resistor value is for the resistor across a couple of the "GAME OVER" relay leaf switches? Mine is burned and broken in half and for some reason I can't find it on the schematic.

Could you do me a favour....i have seen on YouTube vids of a document stapled to gun assembley that is viewed through the rhs hatch. Is it there on your game? If so could you take a pic of this for me? Is it possibly a gun calibration doc? Plus I need a photo of the lower pin on the gun pcb. Mine is missing and I need some close ups of what I need to replicate. Cheers for any info. If I can be of any help to you with mymachine then of course I will be. Thanks in advance....!

Here is the same component in my machine. ..
