1972 Midway Haunted House, seems to be complete except for the gun and coin door. Plug is severed so haven't had a chance to fire it up... Are these worth anything?? EM games just aren't my cup of tea but I thought I'd save it from the garbage man. :)

Nice find! I whould love to have one of those for the collection some day. I believe finding parts for it whould be difficult though, but better than going in the trash nice save :)

Thats quite a score! I would have loved to have found something like that! Looks like a ton of wiring and relays and things. Would be fun to troubleshoot. LOL
Hope you decide to restore it or find someone who will, its a nice find. :)

holy ravaolis!!

I think thats one I almost was tempted to buy and have shipped!
Would love to have that one.
I use to love going to Disneyland and play all those em guns

Might want to post at rec.games.pinball and see if anyone has a spare gun. Surely some have been parted out. That TOTALLY looks worth restoring, but only to someone who would enjoy restoring an EM game. They're not everyone's cup of tea. I have heard of that shooter and seems like it's one of the more desirable/popular ones.

Haunted House is a popular title! Wonder how much is wrong with it? Does it have the brass styluses and springs? Is the target bakelite board intact? How about the diorama and targets? Wonder if there's still a mayfair 8-track player in there, HH kinda needs it I think, not sure if it has a separate sound effects board or not. A working HH can fetch $500-800 if not more. Good luck and good rescue.

I'll open it up this week and get a power cord on it. It suppose to have an 8-track player in it to play the music and sounds. The backglass seems to be mint but will see when I open her up. As far as I can tell the graveyard layout seems to be in great shape too! Pretty neat game for sure...

Yes, that's one of the more popular EM shooters for sure. One of the few that people seem to actually be looking for. I know where a complete one is that's stored in a shed with a bunch of other EM games. Haven't talked to the guy in a while but at the time he thought they were all worth a fortune. I think he was paying more in storage than the games were worth overall...but that one was cool. I got that little EM basketball game from him that I sold to Steve (Back2the80s)...what's it called? Pop-A-Shot or something?

Wow! It's amazing what people toss out!

You occasionaly see the guns for sale on Ebay.

Definitely get that baby up and running - love me some EM gun games!

Did you forget the name of it already lol? It's a briarwood Block a shot. I believe if I remember that guy wanted to sell you the whole collection in the storage unit and not just the haunted EM game by itself? He didn't want to sell the games individually? He wanted some crazy money for the whole unit for what I remembered.

Yeah I knew pop-a-shot wasn't right. :) That game looks better every time I see it. Maybe it's time to ping the guy again and see if he's tired of paying rent on those storage lockers! After the holidays I suppose. I know several people tried to get him to lower the prices but never heard if anyone had any luck. I was thinking Haunted House was worth quite a bit more than what was suggested earlier though.
