I think my son would love that, but I think my daughter would have to be a little older to really enjoy that! Thanks for sharing! You really don't see too much stuff like that anymore!

Sounds like you had a great time with the family at Marvin's! I really like the place as well and the family always has fun when we go. I also like those mechanical type machines he has, some are kind of creepy- kind of like a Tool video, but very neat and unique.

We should do some kind of KLOV meet up at Marvin's one of these days.

That sounds like a great idea! I might be able to make it, just wish is wasn't so far away :-(

I was there last week. Love the place. I wish they had a bigger seating area or a party room. My son wants his b-day there. They got a Transformers pin. I LOVE it. A meetup there would be badass.

My older son had his 10th birthday there. The kids love the place. I love the pin line up and the wife loves going for the tickets. She is trying to save up enough tickets to get me a neon sign off the wall. Only about 16,000 more tickets to go lol. I haven't been for a while but since they had the deal going on groupon last week, I am probably going to shoot over there next weekend myself.

Do you remember roughly when that episode aired? I might see if I can find it on Hulu or something like that . . . would love to see more videos of that place!

Not exactly but that was the name of the episode I believe. History reruns things so much I'm not sure when it first aired.

edit: according to Wikipedia it is season 15 episode 24 - "Coin Operated" and first aired on July 24, 2008

I like the cobra game. I will post photos of the games later but they have this game you stand face to face with a cobra while keeping your hand on a button right in front of his face. It's one of those how big are your balls game and when that cobra strikes it flies forward hitting the cage In front of your hand with a big hiss and a big puff of air. That big music Machine he had is pretty cool.

I would be up for a Klov meet up there.

Oh and those teenage kids working there have no idea that they will never find a more awesome job in their life. I hope they enjoy it now lol but I beat at least one of them will be future members here

My wife bought the groupon thing. For 7 bucks you got 2 hotdogs or pizza, 2 drinks, 2 chips and $6.00 in quarters. Yes, you read that correctly. They actually paid us to be there. Ofcourse, like a casino, they are hoping you drop more dough, which we did. Marvin himself is there greeting everyone and mingling with the crowd. Really nice guy. He gave my son an extra 1.00 in quarters. If anyone is in the area, I highly recommend a trip there. A KLOV meetup is a great idea.

Yep exact same thing we bought, and are going to use this weekend. I am sure I will end up dropping another $30-$40 in there as well between the 4 of us all dropping quarters. I have met Marvin a few times as well. Nice guy all the way around. Every time we go in there he give's us a 10% off coupon to throw a birthday party. If we wanna have a KLOV meetup there one day I am definitely down for it as well.

I'd be interested in a KLOV meetup there sometime too.

Incidentally, is anyone on KLOV the House of the Dead scoreboard guy? I played it the last time I was there, and scored the #1 spot. Then I saw that scores 2-10 were all the same initials. I think it started with K. If you're here, sorry I bumped you down, I had a really awesome game!

Is that something you buy there or is it some type of coupon you get somewhere else?
