The wife and I were in carthage mo looking through some antique stores and one of them had 2 45 jukeboxes, an em pinball and a few video games. The one that made me cringe was a lunar lander conversion with an x cade control panel? WTF?? It was neat to see the games, but they were wanting $1,000 obo each?

any antique store is gonna jack up the price x100 from my experience

what other games did they have?

I was in an antique store one day and stumbled on an old EM. The woman who owned the place wanted $700 but said it didn't work. I asked what was wrong with it and she said she didn't know bit that it didn't come on when she plugged it in. I asked if I could try, and after she approved I reached under and flipped the switch. It came on and worked beautifully! The women then said "I didn't know it had a switch! Now I want $1,200". I told her no thanks and couldn't help but laugh a little as I walked out

Rule number one. If a game doesn't work, don't fix it in front of the guy/girl. Knowledge has value and it isn't your fault they are too stupid to figure out something as simple as that. Either way, price might have been too high to start with anyway.

You must be talking about "McBride's Antiques". The guys dad use to sell arcade's, pinball, and pool table's out of Webb City,Mo. And one day he decided to set the place on fire, and I think 3 or 4 warehouse's on fire and than had a stand off with the cops.
