Found some cool Arcade stuff in my Dynamite 80s magazines

I have a stack of around 26 issues all from the 80s and scanned a few pages for everyone to enjoy. There's a bunch more arcade stuff particularly in two of the issues, the rest is 80s pop culture (tv, movie characters, etc).

I have a link posted in the ebay section of KLOV but these were too good to pass up sharing... enjoy.

I have larger versions of the scans which help to identify some of the games in the last series of pictures.... Cool to see a Warrior on location.

The scans for these came from issue 94 which has melissa gilbert on the cover. There's an entire issue which has several pages devoted to arcade games, I don't have the issue number in front me because all the magazines are now stacked and packed up ready to go to whoever wins the listing. i can say that 1983 seemed to be the most active with arcade game issues for dynamite.

hope this helps.

Here's a bit of trivia....

Thanks for posting those, amazing that they could find kids that had never been exposed to the games, to review them!

I can only imagine corporate's reaction to those after spending so much on development and marketing :)

I love Defender, but I'm amazed it won. The one chick got 350 points at it and still gave it a 10... Thats probably a 30 second game, at best. The fact that it'd beat you down that fast turned so many people off.
