Found or No Longer Wanted FOUND: Mario Bros Widebody

This is news to me. Will be trying that asap. Thanks for the heads up !

I do like the order of USA romset boards better so this is perfect.
My original had the "F" ROMs and I eventually swapped them out for D or E. The game was too easy, and my sessions would just last forever. Plus, every collector friend had the non-F set.

I'm thinking that since this game came out during the crash, they wanted people to feel they were getting more value for their quarter by making it easier.

I am ALL about making it easier. I set all my games (except frogger) to easiest settings and most men. All my friends who come over are non-collectors or kids under 10 so I love running them up.

Frogger I play on tournament settings as I am still trying to get to 50k and want that to be legit.

It's always interesting to me when I see the before pictures on a Mario Brothers widebody. Whoever made the fucking CPO's for them oughta be dug up and slapped around a little bit. Every single one of them has that separation line just above the bend, causing the lower third of the CPO to be missing. So weird. Here's mine just after I picked it up back in 2007.

I picked up a MWB not to long ago that was converted. With only wanting to do a light restoration i went a slightly different route. I picked this up for 350$, lukcily the monitor had very light burn and everything was original besides a secondary harness was installed for jamma. I still gotta finish the guts but got distracted with wacko /udot

The control panel design, in general, is a horrible design. That metal bracket on the underside that the CP has to slide into…the CPO is doomed. I already had to razor blade a bit of it off because it was binding up. It's not visible, but it still pisses me off.
