You can't use a C=128 psu (310416-01) with an Amiga 500, that's common sense!

I am looking for a working psu (either 312503-02 or 312503-03) for the Amiga 500.

Plz PM me a photo, your pricing (including S&H), and we'll take it from there! :)

Thanks!

People rave about this guy's replacement p/s. They're not the cheapest, but then again, they're hand built and supposed to be the good stuff-

Yeah $80 seems fair for something that can't be purchased anymore. It's a tad high, but I assume it's all custom work.

Prob is. How do you purchase it? I don't see any web store front or Paypal...

All the voltages other than 9V AC are standard in computer power supplies.... you wouldn't use a 500W supply... but an older PC supply, or a newer small output supply would fit the bill for all by the 9V AC. For that you could use a 9V AC 'wall wart'.

If you have the original supply, sometimes they can be opened up (dremel, knife, hammer :) ).... if you don't have an issue with trying to fix your own. I have not opened a genuine Amiga 500 supply, so I can't comment on how hard/easy it would be.

I may have one.... I'll check, but likely I don't have an extra at this point... if I do, I'll PM the person who posted.

Just email the guy and ask. I have no personal experience, so can't really vouch, but people on the Commodore groups/forums rave about him. He sells quality stuff. I don't know the technical reasons, but I've read that the original C64 p/s can damage the C64 if/when it eventually fails. Personally, I hate the idea of hacking wall warts/etc together, and I usually try to save as much as possible. Good luck!

I have several good A500 power supplies sitting around here. While you can't use a 128 power supply on the 500, the reverse can be done.

If you're still interested, shoot me a PM.
