Tonight I was cleaning up a recent purchase and that's when I discovered it..

You must be thinking...that's not a Star Trek TNG Pinball... that's a Revolution X..

But wait...there's more.. let's take a look inside the lower coin door.

A closer look...

Appears to have once been intended for a backbox....hmm..

And inside the cabinet..

a planet? and stars?!?

part of the Enterprise?!?

Unfortunately...this pin cannot be saved, as it was killed before it was even built.. oh well.

Judging by the flyer.. My guess looks pretty accurate

Wow, I love Revolution X, but not as much as TNG!

WEIRD, because RX came out years after TNG! It must have sat it the factory of years!

Searching both games shows Star Trek TNG being 1993 and Revolution X being 1994, so I guess they had some Star Trek parts or maybe some defective parts sitting around when it came time to build Rev X.

Saves them having to buy more lumber for the cabinets. If they had back stock of parts they just would simply utilize them elsewhere i suppose.

This happened alot at Williams and Bally. There have been other threads about other cabinets being used as reinforcement. Great use of sub-par cabinets if you ask me. No reason to throw them away.

I will have to look at my pins again. I know one of them has something from another game in it, I just don't remember which one.

Cool Find!
