So, I shipped a game from the middle of nowhere in Northern California to Phoenix Arizona for $260 total. I'm no advertiser, but the company was really nice, flexible and responsive. I think it's worth tossing their contact email out here in case anyone else needs their service.

You can email them here, [email protected] or use uShip to create a post that they might bid on.

Here is the uShip link for my shipping: https://www.uship.com/shipment/Atari-Asteroids-Machine/808758275/

Door to Door?
Did they wrap and pallet?
Insurance?

That is a decent price. I just rented a 16' cab over truck from enterprise and went from Phoenix to Anaheim for very close to that price to pickup several games. Wonder if it counts for a discount that my mother's maiden name is Ludwig and is from Northern California lol.

They wrapped it in moving blankets, but did not pallet it. They used a fairly normal looking van to move it. I think it's just a family's side business or something. They seemed like nice people.

Ha! I think these people might live in AZ, but I'm not entirely sure. I was also going to rent a truck, and go get this machine...but I couldn't figure out how to do that for less than $260. Just in time alone (10 hour one way drive) using these people was a sweet deal.

any company that does official business with a generic yahoo address raises a red flag IMO. they really should only work/do business with a branded email presence

I totally agree, but I think this uShip thing is a little more informal. These people seemed more like the "Uber of shipping Arcades."

I just thought I would provide that contact in case someone needs it. $260 for door to door was much more economical than other methods I found.
