Forget it! I am DONE trying to get a frickin' Toobin'!

Re:

Cool man, have you been looking for one for a long time or you just happen to stumble across one?

Been wanting one for a pretty good while, but only aggressively sought one out as of late.

My collection had gone largely unchanged for a few years, and it was only recently that I shook things up -- letting go of some pieces and making room for a Toobin'.

nice looking machine. any idea where you go for the toobin' t-molding? All the stuff I've seen is either too bright, too dark, or too unique for TRON.

whats the deal with toobin?

is there ever an end? or even a board thats harder to get then the rest?

Nice - it was probably really expensive, wasn't it? I mean, no way you could get one for say $200 - $300, right?

Thanks, everyone! :)

I have no idea. If anyone could pass along a link to some appropriate t-molding for this game I'd appreciate it.

Also, my bezel is black and I'd like to paint it as close to the original color of blue as possible. Anybody know which color of spray paint I should use?

And for those still needing a motor replacement for their marquee, I found this old thread, which points to this part at McMaster-Carr.

Thanks!

Although, to clarify...Toobin' wasn't a exactly "grail". ;)

There can be only one "grail", and that title goes to Tron, which I scored many, many moons ago. (And it will surely be the last vid to leave my collection if I end up as one of those wacky pinball dudes who goes all hardcore on pin-collecting.) :)
