Picked up this little gem a couple weeks ago:

Ive finally come full circle with my arcade game collecting. My 1st game ever was an NBA Jam conversion which I finally got rid of to get the dedicated cabinet, and my 3rd game ever was a converted Golden Tee Fore! 2005, which I got rid of to finally find this dedicated cabinet. Its currently at a friends house (as you can tell by the room its in), but should be home in the next couple of weekends. It works all the way, the monitor was just rebuilt (thanks acejedi), and it cleaned up nicely. I will be replacing the trackball, and the plexi overlay has some cracks in it, so I will probably just remove that all together.

A HUGE thanks to 8bitnintendo on getting this deal together for me. Golden Tee is freaking awesome, and I will be doing the Complete Upgrade once I hear feedback from others.

FORE!

Heaviest fucking cab, ever. Make sure you have help. That's part of the reason this bitch isn't home yet.

by the room it is in or by the raiders logo on a glass on the shelf?

Dude, the worst part is my buddy is a 9er fan, and his wife is a Raider fan. There are some awesome fights during football season in that house :)

Nice! It's always a hit when casual game players are around.

Yep, everyone of my casual gaming friends, and family love Golden Tee. They were pissed when I got rid of my old one.

Sure the hell is. Taking mine into the basement sucked... I even left the monitor in. Don't want to see what it would be like to go UP stairs.

Nice. I've got a 2004 Fore! and I love it. Mine is in a generic cab that was made for a 30-something inch monitor, so it is HUGE. It's so damned big, that I'm not sure it will ever find it's way from the garage to the game room. I was lucky enough to score mine for free, and stuck a $15 med res 25" monitor in it.

I'd love to come across a Golden Tee cab. MAME stops at Golden Tee 2K i think it is... and I love them. I've actually NEVER played Golden Tee Fore...

That's how I got mine. It was in the guy's basement and no one that responded to the CL ad was up to the task of moving it. I asked if he had anyone to help move and he told me about his movers he had bring it to his place. I paid good money for that, but it was money well spent. His movers were four HUGE guys who were all struggling with the task of getting the game out of his basement.

Dude, find one locally at a bar and play it. Night and Day from the 2K and under games. They are awesome, for sure.

If you don't laugh at my incomplete ghetto-fabbed temporary bezel, you are welcome to stop by and play a round of 2004 on mine.

i've got GT:Complete and i freakin' love it...no doubt the FORE! series is light years beyond the originals.

got my heart set on a GT from the new LIVE series now...maybe early next year.

Damn, what kind of price tag do the Live's come with? I would love to have one of those one day.

I'm really looking forward to the 29 course Complete setup.

i would imagine somewhere around $2500 or so, give or take a few hundred bucks....i could be wrong though.

and you'll LOVE the 29 courses on Complete.....you'll never get tired of any particular course.

There is no way that it can compare to the greatness that is Vs. Golf. Of course that is a joke. Vs. Golf blows.

I've never even played any of the Golden Tee games.

Finally something you and I can agree on. Vs Golf is horrendous.

Like I told Frizz, go to a bar a check out GT. You wont be disappointed.

I picked up my GT 2005 Live at a SuperAuction for $10, everything but monitor and marquee.

I actually got 2 of 'em at that price.
