I have a Toobin' in Western Mass.

You can see it here:

Just curious if anyone has a working game they might want to trade. Will consider any offers.

The toobin' works 100%. The Waterfall marquee does work but you need to give it a nudge to get it going. The motor has a deadspot. The monitor looks good. The cabinet needs some bondo work but is very sound and solid. See the photos on my site.

Here's a video of it:

And, here's a photo:

I really want an Asteroids Deluxe. Or, would trade with some cash for a Tron or Tapper.

I kind of am all Vs'd out right now. :)

Re: Asteroids Deluxe -Try to get the Revison 2 version with switchable difficulty (rev 2 is known as "easy" and revision 1 is known as "hard"). Not all Rev 2s have the ability to switch between difficulty. Rev 1 was replaced with Rev 2 because the game was too hard. Even in Rev 2 the game is hard. The all time high score on this game is not anywhere close to the original Asteroids, only 3.3 million vs 42 million, and that's on the hard setting.

Really glad you posted that Jon. Our AD is way too tough for the family to enjoy so I'm hoping it's rev 1 and we can do something about that. ;)

Thanks again! :beerchug:

From all his posts that I have read, Jeff was being serious when thanking you for posting that. Relax.

How you can tell what revision a game is? Is it noticeable on screen? And, is it a simple rom swap?

Killer Satellite in the original version appears at the end of the second wave.

In the revised version it will appear near the end of the first wave and is much slower.

and yes it's a ROM swap but like I mentioned there is a later version what plays both versions of the game.
