I found the PERFECT way to move your games around on carpet. These were on clearance at Home Depot for $6 a package and they perfectly cup right over the leg levelers and things slide like butter and they won't fall off!! I'm going to try and find more packages of these things. This might be old news to some, but they're new to me!

Every single one of my games(except Hard Drivin' cockpit), has those underneath, arcade and pinball. Some packs come with the plastic sliders and wool pull over cloth, in case you need them for tile/wood floors. A little bit different than what's pictured above, but just as useful.

Look around some more Drew, I've bought multi-packs of these sliders for a decent price, I just can't remember where. It was either Lowes or Home Depot, but they come in 24 or 28 packs.

It may be a little overkill, but I epoxy those to old worn out levelers in order to refurb them. They work great on my semi smooth concrete floor.

Here's a little secret to make these move around even better: apply either furniture polish or silicone spray to these and they'll move like a rocket! I have them on my heavier games and man, what a difference!

Ikea has these plastic sheets that are designed to be used under office desks so you can slide a chair around it. They are 3x4 or so. I have all my games sitting atop these sheets with the above Home Depot sliders on the feet. If I have to slide a game out I use some spare sheets that I put in position in front of the game. Protects the carpet and makes it easy to work on games. I would take some pics but I am out of town at the moment.

Great tips but what happens with an aggressive game. When you make that hard left or right with the stick, does the game move?

You continue playing :)

These make it easier to move the game, but you still need some good force for it to move. Typical game play, even heated, is not enough to make the cab slip away from you.

I have a bunch of these. They do cup the leg levelers pretty good but on certain heavy (atari) games I find that the leg levelers sometimes pop out of them. I'm tempted to put some double sided tape inside them. That might be the best of both worlds between the cup style and the tape style.
