For the kids...

I'd like to think the bottom of the cab was water damaged, so they decided to make the "kid sized" version out of it.

"The job was done right".

Sure it was - that's why Pac-Man is getting scalped in the front artwork.

There are plenty of things to say about this if you're trying to sell it, but "The job was done right" isn't one of them.

Hah, I can put it next to my "Kid's" Tron:

I think I met this guy and saw this machine while looking for some other parts. His roof line just sloped down where he wanted the machine leaving him with super low clearance so he cut it to fit.

But...

Did you do the job "right"??? Didja?

Don't fret. She had major surgery and is doing well. It's very solid and right now it's sanded down to the bare MDF. I finally broke down and got a big enough compressor to paint with so I can "do the job right". Should turn out nice.

Side art looks really good on that Pac too, so it's really too bad he chopped the bottom off :( A friend of mine has a Bump N Jump that has a foot or two missing on the bottom, bought it that way. I'm assuming it had some water damage or something. Right now it's next to his desk...I told him he should leave it that way...if he needs a break, he can spin the chair around and play a game, since it's the perfect height :)

I think some of those traveling carnivals did they. They would chop off the bottom of the cabs, set them on a trailer and just pull up the trailer with them ready to play with you standing at ground level.
