i used to be a frequent visitor to this forum. i loved the hobby for the 4-5 years i was into it. However, my arcades are now taking up space in my garage. my kids are getting older and i need kayak/backpacking/canoe/science project money!
I have the following:
Tempest: in great shape. Body has minimal swelling at the bottom, but barely noticeable except to the most astute observer. Has a retro metal cigarette holder on the control panel (OLD SCHOOL. probably was in a bar at one point). The monitor looks great, the game plays awesome, controls perfectly.
Millipede: the ball is a bit sticky from non-use, but gets much smoother once it's been used a bit. It gets better for me after only a few games. A friend told me the though the monitor might need a cap kit soon, but it still plays great and looks great. I can definitely be brought home and played immediately. All other buttons/functionality work perfectly. The marquee is a little tweaked, and it has a small amount of moisture swelling if i remember correctly.
Crystal Castles: This game's in great shape. Everything works great. Buy this, and you'll be the dandy of California Extreme. It runs and looks great, and still makes the crazy startup sounds when it boots. The roller ball even lights up still!
I am asking 400 each for them, or all 3 for 1000.
I am in the East San Francisco Bay Area.
I also have access to a Mrs. Pacman that needs a new monitor. It's not mine, but has been in home use for 20+ years. You can hear the game playing in the back, but the monitor is dead. She wants 500 for it, or make an offer! The body is in AWESOME SHAPE. Bezel, marquee all awesome...
