I am asking a cool grand in cash or will trade for a nice dedicated MKII + cash (depending on condition) or nice dedicated Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters. The machine is fully restored, new paint, new star splatter, new artwork, new repro screened control panel, burn-free fully rebuilt G07 monitor, all lights work (stick, cp, backdrop, marquee, rank), inner art and back drop art in perfect condition. Power board has been rebuilt. The only flaw I can find on the game is in the lower right corner of the bezel. The decal/graphic has begun bubbling right at the corner. No flaking, just an air bubble between the graphic and the glass.

That is a thing of beauty. Way nicer than mine. Good luck with your sale. Some lucky member's gonna have a beauty of a machine.

Will also trade for a nice, working Gunfight or Boot Hill + cash. Not sure what those older B&W's go for these days, but I am thinking around $350-400 (working)? I'd consider a trade for a very nice Sprint 2 as well.

that gorf looks amazing!! im fixing one up my self, do you know where to buy the small bulbs which go in the joystick? i also need the upper marquee brackets if you know where i could pick those up?

Still for sale, have had 3 interested parties but no solid deals. Not budging on the $1000 price tag. Way too much work and time into this one to let it go for less. If you are looking for a very nice, restored, trouble-free GORF, THIS IS IT.

That's a thing of beauty. I always regret selling mine, which wasn't in near as good of shape but was decent. I have a mini now though and sort of wished I had the full size instead again.

Yeah, I am really shocked at how few people remember this Bally/Midway title from back in the day (I don't either). Usually all the attention goes to TRON, but really, a GORF cab looks almost as awesome and actually has better mini games.

About 5 years ago, Peter Hirschberg had the fortunate opportunity to interview George Gomez about his work on the Tron cab, it is almost certainly inspired by and in many ways stolen from Gorf.

and actually has better mini games.

Subjective.

I like them both. They're certainly different.

This machine is sold and will be heading to Florida. Thanks for the interest. Now I've only got one machine left to sell, my Pigout!, and then I'll be done selling vids for a while.
