FOR SALE: Nintendo PlayChoice 10 Countertop / Bartop

I'm looking to sell my PlayChoice 10 Countertop / Bartop. I'd prefer to sell the whole thing locally, but shipping might be an option. It's about 100 lbs.

I'll attach a link for pictures but it's in good working condition. The monitor, speakers, controls and coin slot all work. There are some scratches which you will see on the control panel, one of the controllers is also missing the plastic covering, and the reset button is not working (you can press channel select and enter to reset). Might just have to replace the cherry switch, I'm not sure. Also, you'll need a new lock. If thats a deal breaker, I can replace that for you. It comes with 1942, Balloon Fight, Captain Skyhawk, Excitebike, Gauntlet, Pinbot, Rad Racer II, RC Pro Am, Super C and Super Mario Bros. 3.

I was thinking about $500. I was thinking $250 for the working cabinet plus $25 per game. I've seen prices everywhere from $300 - $800. The $300 ones seem to either be broken or without games. I just want a fair price, if it's not $500 show me how much a comperable system sells for.

I live in SW Wisconsin and work in NE Illinois I'm within 2 - 2 1/2 hours of Madison, Milwaukee or Chicago. Closest to Madison, that's only 1 hour.

Feel free to email lpeters82 at G M A I L . C O M

PS: I do also have the Galaxian for sale too, but I'd prefer to paint, t-mold and work on those horizontal lines before selling it. If you want an easy project you can make an offer on that one too.

I'd be interested at the $250 mark and I only need you to leave Balloon Fight in the machine, you can sell all the rest of the carts separately if you want to make the rest of the money you seek. I have about 15 carts here already so it can come to me empty (save Balloon Fight). I could have Spee Dee Delivery pick it up from you so long as you can double box it. If interested, let me know. It's a birthday present to myself.

I'm going to try to sell it all for a little bit longer, I'd just prefer less work. I don't suppose you'd be interested in selling the extra games yourself, would you?

Well, then my offer would be $350 for the whole works, the cpo and the cabinet looks kinda beat. If interested, LMK. If not, no worries.

Alright, let me try to sell it all for the $500, which seems fair. If I can't do that in a few days lets revisit the $250 mark. If you make it $300 now you have a deal right away.

I don't really know how the shipping works, so I'll leave that up to you. I can get it double boxed as long as you can arrange pickup.

Tell you what, if you'll take $375 for the whole works, I'll set up shipping over the weekend and have it picked up Monday (or the soonest you can have it ready). 100lbs sounds about right for shipping weight, I'd just need your pickup address and contact phone number via PM. The shipper will need that info. I'd go 4 bills, but the CPO being all marred up and that back corner being busted lowers the value for me.

Just noticed where you are from. Would you pay more if I could meet you in St. Michaels tomorrow or Sunday? I'm planning on coming up but the snow might scare us away.

For 4 bills, I would meet you and pick it up in St. Michael tomorrow. LMK if you do make it this way. Thanks Luke.

My wife just got home, were not going. Can you wait until December 27-28th? Were thinking about rescheduling then. Hope you have your showblower fired up. Looks like were both going to get dumped on.

Get a PM to kickinthehouse. He bought mine so I know he has no issue with shipping. Also, he posted in the Wanted Forums that he is looking for a second machine.

Your $500 asking price is an extremely good deal so you should have no trouble selling it.

SOLD!

Thank you for making my first arcade sale quick and easy. I just signed up here today. Seems like a great active community. I'm really very inexperienced with arcade games but I've owned a few of them. Out of curiosity does anyone know the fair value of that Galaxian machine I have pictures of in my link. I'm planning on painting it and adding t-molding. The screen has some screen burn and those damn lines. I'm going to try replacing 1H and 1K and see what happens. I'm hoping it's that to avoid soldering.

Hey mate, Those horizontal lines could be the character set rom sockets. Try replacing those to fix the issue.

Thank you, I have contacted HobbyRoms.com about ordering a set. This would be the 1H and 1K sockets, right? I think it's for sure a problem with the PCB. The screen is fine during testing.

Yep, I could have waited, but it looks like you sold it to the other dude. Congratz and Thanks anyway. The search continues.

Phetishboy: I don't understand why you were bartering off to $400 anyway, Captain Skyhawk and RC Pro-Am make the $500 price insanely cheap with it...
