For Sale: Food Fight conversion to Double Play Baseball - $75 [US, WI]

Located in Osceola, WI. Far as I can tell, structurally it's all there. Original Disco monitor, recently recapped, although it's still got a wave, probably needs a new filter cap too.

CP is there, but the conversion hacked it to hell. Original Atari power block is in the bottom, though.

It's currently converted to Double Play Baseball. I was going to restore this to a FF, but a few other projects got in the way.

See my CL posting Here.

I lifted a bit of the laminate, and the side art is indeed hiding under there :)

Problems I see are parts are extremely hard to come by for this game...especially the marquee and bezel...plus that has a midway style door on it meaning the front it probably hacked since a foodfight had an over/under style coin door. There is no front art at this time that has been reproduced...but I think its coming eventually...
For someone who has hoarded the parts this is no brainer..but gathering them all from scratch will be tough..good luck with sale..i hope it gets saved.

Getting all that laminate off and the side art remaining in once piece underneath would be an incredible, if not impossible, feat.

I had a similar situation with a FF cab with sides painted black. When I tried to take off the paint the side art came off in places and once it happened, the side art was ruined. And I was very careful and used the right chemicals and methods to remove it.

It was a neo geo conversion loaded with thousands of rat shits that I got for $50. 2-3 years ago I sold it to another guy locally, after my failed restoration, for $50 and for the last 2-3 years he's put it up for sale from time to time on LA Craigslist for $50...and no one's buying...

Hey but at least I got a lot of rat shit......

Hm...maybe it will stick around a bit :)

Okay, before I list it on CL for FREE...I figure I'lll give you guys first crack.

FREE to whomever wants it.

The coin doors and monitor have been removed, and I will be keeping them.

There's a working switching power supply inside, as well as a fully functional Super Baseball / Home Run Derby game.

Tomorrow night it goes up on CL.
