for sale: (2) midway linear power supply boards (tron, spy hunter, tapper, wacko)

I have 2 of these boards I am putting up for sale.

board # 1 has not been rebuilt. There was a modest amount of acid damage that I scrubbed off with some vinegar/water. I replaced the battery with a bob roberts style kit.
the pics don't show it, but I am going out right now to replace R217 with a 1N4007 diode (per bob roberts)
tested and working right now

$35 SOLD pending payment

board #2 was working when pulled. I bought the $24 bob roberts rebuild kit. I have installed every single component, etc. onto the board. But I am a fucking tool and I cannot get the molex connectors off of the board.
This board is being sold:
was working
new parts
buyer needs to replace 3 of the molex on the board still.

$45 (decided to keep at this point)

or if someone wants to take on the task of replacing the last 3 molex' for me, I could toss them a few bucks, and pay shipping back and forth and keep the 2nd one. Kind of a shame to let that one go after the time and money I put in it.

bump

Sometime those connectors are hard to remove. If your iron is not big enough the pins act like a heat sink and heat of the iron doesn't get hot enough to do the job. Pm sent.

I never replace those molex connectors because how much of a PITA they can be. Tried it once and that was enough. Didn't help that my soldering iron wasn't great. I could probably do it now if necessary but it would probably still be a pain.

sounds like a commitment to me. :)

I wouldn't have replaced them (or attempted to actually) but there appeared to be some battery acid green residue inside on the metal.

Ok call the working one sold pending payment. The second one I will be holding onto to see if Dan can help me figure it out.
