i always liked JP....then i owned one. i had some problems with mine, so that obviously led to some frustration. but even after i got it working, i found myself playing my other pins more.

i sold it and have not had a second's regret. it's the only pin i've sold that i do not miss at all.

file that in the FWIW category.

Also in the FWIW category, I have always wanted to play one. Never have :(

7/10 shape? Not sure how you came up with that. Most likely spending about $700-$900?
Play it, have fun. Sell it when you're bored. Won't lose more than $100 or so if you decide to dum it off. The cheaper you buy it, the more fun it will seem! It's all about the hunt....

It is in a guys arcade (pizza parlor) I assume it's a little beat and has some playfield wear. It's a 4 hour drive (round trip) $700, but I figure that's a starting point and I can work it down from there.

JP is VERY similiar to Whirlwinds layout. If you like Whirlwind I'm sure JP will be your cup of tea. As far as price he's asking about half common sale price so by all means grab it. Don't become obsessed with this pin. Clean and fix it up to be playable and spend some time on it. If it doesn't trip your trigger dump it for $1K - $1200 as long as it's not a pile of firewood :D

agree....hell, despite what i said above, i'd snag another one for $700 (or less). play it for 3 months, get bored of it, and make $300-500 off of it on craigslist.

absolutely. pull the trigger.
