I've got a Tekken 5 that were scrapping in Cathedral City CA.

Free to a good home... If your not all that into fighting games it would make a good MAME cab. Everything works except the CPU. I'm pretty sure its the dedicated version of the game. If its not its in a Mortal Kombat 2 clone cab.

PM me if you want it.

Matt

I wonder how much it costs to replace the CPU, or possibly repair it. There were very few games made on this platform.

Got it! Thanks Matt!

No, thank you for going over there and grabbing it.

I was trying to post to the message board that it was spoken for earlier but replying to this site on the iPhone kinda sucks.

iPhone.....try posting on my crappy Samsung sth-:)

Looks like it had a HD, everything else is there though.
I'd love to see it running but not sure if I can get parts, wonder how hard it would be to run a modded xbox w/ jamma adapter?

Hence "kinda sucks." Its not totally un doable, its just kinda lame.

It would easy to mame it, it's a very cool looking cab, very modern looking, nice wide control panel, a nice flat looking screen, would be a shame to not have a fighting game in it IMO:)

It sounds like the DVD drive is missing, which can be easily replaced.

There are a number of system 246 games that can run on the 256 platform.

There it is!

After first inspection I saw the ribbon cable/ connector and power molex and just thought it was a HD...., the housing the dvd drive is in there is also a pcb underneath it, I suppose that would be the main cpu, I think it would be best to aquirre the whole shabang along with the correct dvd to run it, the jamma i/o pcb looked good but without the rest running it's hard to say its fine.
I hooked up a source to the vga cable in the cab but did not get anything on the monitor, has neck glow and looks to be powering up normal.
Very cool looking cab, I'll try and snap a couple of pics later today. :)
