First off - sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...

So, I'm over at the offices of the company that makes all the Metroid games, dropping off a repaired Donkey Kong for their cafeteria, and took this pic. Of course, I didn't recognize it, as I've never played Metroid. This is big (noticed the big water bottles underneath) and is pixel-perfect. It's hanging on one wall, and normally has a spotlight on it:

On a more interesting note, check out what the "pixels" are:

I asked btw, and they said they were all crap titles, and that the cartridges probably still worked.

They also had this strobing sign up in a corner. Very cool. The lights seem to sparkle and it strobes around in different patterns:

That's awesome! So it's located here (Retro Studios), correct?

It's crazy how many little companies are involved with some of these major games. Great idea for wall art.

It's a shame that it's not been done a long time ago.. :)

Cool.

Thats bad ass... I wanna do something like that in my game room. but rescale it so friends can come over and get pictures taken of a metroid sucking thier brain.

They are the ones that bought my DKJr cocktail. He had a bunch of shirts he gave me too. I hope that game is still as nice as it was when I sold it to them.

Were they working on the new Donkey Kong Country? That's their next big release.

Next Metroid is by Team Ninja.

Cool stuff!

Actually it needs a monitor rebuild. They've been leaving them on all the time (they're on timers now) and the monitor is a bit dim...

Oh, and I recognized it. I said, "Did y'all get this from a guy who lives out by Dell Diamond?"
