For 1200 dollars...this gem could be yours..

and a cap kit, and new side art. Welcome to TN, bud. lol.

Most operators still want near $1000 for a MS PAC. I would never pay that much, but enough people do that the prices will remain high.

and most ops here will sit on it till it rots. 400 bucks tops, and thats if someone want's a ms. pac badly.
Dale might get a grand for it, but at least he'd do a cap kit and make the art look decent. Tn is a long long way from Washington state.

I've got a better one... My boss has a class of 81 reunion cocktail that's just been sitting under a stack of boxes taking up space at work. Looks like it's been there for years. I know that his wife used to run an ice cream shop, so it was used in there for a while. He probably bought it new, and it's in good shape, but like any machine that's been on a location, it shows a bit of wear. I'd been bugging him on and off for a while if he'd lay down a price for me. I finally got him to crack the other day. He said he wanted 6 grand for it, and he wasn't just being a jerk. That's actually what he thinks it's worth.

Unfortunately this guy is my boss, so I couldn't really tell him to go stuff it, but WOW. Any form of PAC in this area sells for about 600 tops. He's at about 10 times what he should actually be asking

There are like 4+ broken ms pac-man uprights in my area. 2 with dead monitors and 2 with boards errors. All for $200 and under...

None of these are selling quick also... You could send them out to have the problems fixed for about $100 each and get a working machine for under $300, which is what I think a Ms Pacman is actually worth.

This reminds me about something.

I used to work for an OP that smoked like a forest fire. According to California law at the time he had to smoke outside but he ALWAYS brought it inside. I told him that every time I caught him smoking inside the building (there were always young kids in there) I'd sell one of his games for $25.00. He gave me a bunch of crap but I think deep down he liked it. He had something in the area of 400 games in storage so this only helped.

Cant tell you how many Pac's and MsPac's went out the door for $25.00. :)

Matt

Actually, the reunion cabs go for quite a bit more than regular Pac cabs, I'd say around 1000 (or possibly more) if they're in good shape.
As to the one in the original post, yeah, definitely too high. I thought the monitor looked pretty good in the pics though, does it really need a cap kit? I notice alot of cabs are missing the back doors...somewhere in another dimension, there must be a bunch of back doors with no cabs :D
Anyway, you want to see someone on crack, check out this one (been posted before)

$3400 (or $3000, depending on whether you read the title or the posting) for a cool "Mrs Pac-Man" with no pics included.

He's interested in trades of 'equal value'... maybe I should offer the rest of the Namco Museum games(Dig Dug and Pole Position) and ask for 1200 and a Ms. Pac in return? ;)
