Football Sunday in Galaxy Blue

On the way to my wife's surgery today, she said something that I was going to immediately reply to. But, I've evolved, so I caught myself. She said what were you going to say? I said, "nothing".

(I have learned you don't argue with a crazy person)

Edit: I think of Henny Youngman at these times. He once said, "my wife wanted me to take her someplace she'd never been before. I took her to the kitchen." 😆

Unfortunately not saying anything can sometimes land you in hot water as well. But usually holding one's tongue is a solid approach. You can't be prosecuted for statements not made.

This was about as far back in the back bar corner as I could get to try to and capture everything in here. Arcade, games, full bar, 2 modern TVs, diner booth, jukebox, carpet, etc.

The booth looks really great! I like there's space to pull up a chair too!

Oh, I still do that, but I'm wondering how much longer that's gonna be enough. I'm trying to live out the Arcade fantasy with my youngest who's got five years of middle/high school left. If everything goes to plan, he will then be attending the university I work at which is about 5 miles away. So he'll be able to live at home during those four years as well. He is my biggest advocate in the family. Just a great all-around kid. My wife hates the Arcade, my oldest boy could care less about the Arcade, my daughter is too busy working and chasing guys. Rayce is my support person. He loves the Arcade and loves his dad and loves hanging out with me in the arcade. So hopefully we can do this for another nine years before I have to start thinking about downsizing once he's out of the house completely.
Oh man. Here - both kids now in college and 'out of the house'. This hits home pretty hard. Maybe Thanksgiving Tranquility Base Arcade will see some action. Your space is KILLER...love everything about it...

I interrupted somebody's race this past Sunday and boy, he was not happy.

After eight years, we finally brought the dartboard back home from my friend who had been storing it for us during the remodel. For whatever reason, we just never thought it would fit so we left it at his place. I talked to my oldest son and he asked me to bring it back home so I did. I've gotta say, we've been down in the arcade more in the last month than we have in the last few years.

We suck at darts but we still like to play, my youngest stands on a chair about 3 feet from the board to play by herself whenever an adult is around to pull the darts off the board. Off topic a bit, anyone know where to get the 4 lightbulbs that go in the pcb board for the Top Gun? They light up the throw and don't throw images. I tested with it by alligator clipping in some led strips and those suckered got hot fast!

Glad you're making memories with your crew!
